We are beginning our Spring here and it's very warm for Spring this year, close to 30ÂșC...my young sprouts are wilting as they come out of the ground a few inches.

By the picture it looks like you enjoyed your country outing.Sandy Hatcher-Wallacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15011307599473627922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9619869.post-1145674423771535352006-04-22T12:53:00.000+10:002006-04-22T12:53:00.000+10:00Whoah! But eating outdoors in all weathers is just something we've always done. You're right, Sue, the food always tastes much better when eating outdoors. And we don't go ANYWHERE without our ground coffee and coffee making stuff (even when we stay in Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04456736523331076619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9619869.post-1145561237676253192006-04-21T05:27:00.000+10:002006-04-21T05:27:00.000+10:00Sounds you both had a lovely time. Deb's not much of a camper so I often take my two boys out and rough it for a couple of days - can't say I've ever had filtered coffee while camping though. Sounds a little too comfortable.

Looks like you had a great time though. We would eat cold cereal at 5Am in very chilly temps and then drive for 4 hrs straight, with 2 little kids (had our 3rd in Oz). Crazy, but we had fun :) Saw lots of wonderful sights! What a great country the US is! (I know, I know....so is Australia!!!!) I love them both!Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18362584475435433892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9619869.post-1145437460717373402006-04-19T19:04:00.000+10:002006-04-19T19:04:00.000+10:00Thanks to Alice for suggesting a really obvious so...Thanks to Alice for suggesting a really obvious solution to my dark photo - I went back to Picasa and changed the lighting. This one is looking better. The ones I took with the timed exposure though came out darker than the same scene taken normally. If anyone has a comment on that I'd appreciate it!Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04456736523331076619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9619869.post-1145422203572495282006-04-19T14:50:00.000+10:002006-04-19T14:50:00.000+10:00Oh yes, the Man who cooks does all the cooking in ...Oh yes, the Man who cooks does all the cooking in the country, while I take care of the washing up. In addition to cooking over campfires (he was a Queen's Scout), he can also use the 2-burner gas stove we run off a cylinder. That's ideal for preparing breakfast, and we always have filter coffee. Don't know why that photo came out so dark, you can barely see me behind the upright.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04456736523331076619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9619869.post-1145418158767837522006-04-19T13:42:00.000+10:002006-04-19T13:42:00.000+10:00Does the MWC also cook breakfast?Does the MWC also cook breakfast?Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10901064145483995261noreply@blogger.com
