Phine graduates, with honours!

You'd think I was the parent, so happy am I for Phine and her achievement. But friends are allowed to be happy and celebrate too. Well done, Phine!

What a happy picture! Graduating with honours is such an achievement.
Thank you so much for your kind words on Mother's Day.
I'm so glad you are still blessed with your Mom. Lucky you and lucky her!

Congratulations to Phine! How do you pronounce her name? (Feenie or Feen, or maybe with a long 'i'?) What a wonderful accomplishment for your very dear friend! She must be a hard worker! What field did she graduate in?

Kerri,

Phine is short for Josephine, so it’s pronounced like the last syllable. She graduated in politics. Now she’s working to save money for an overseas trip. She works in the library as a shelving attendant, and every Friday at 6 p.m. we do the last shift and lock up the library. Nobody else wants to do that shift but we volunteer for it! We walk out to the carpark together, chat about the week just past, about the footy games to be played on the weekend and stuff in general. I really look forward to our “walk and talk”, a lovely way to finish the week. Phine is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met, and she’s a natural communicator with everyone. I’m a Phine-fan!
