Today Meow and I had lunch together, near a bakery that makes those special large soft pretzels (Laugen Bretzeln) you often see in Europe and in some cities in the U.S. but they are not so common here. I do love eating those pretzels, and made a big deal of them when I found them in the Barossa Valley recently. Here's Meow and I doing a silly pose, showing off our pretzels. (Sounds rather rude, doesn't it?).
Meow, aka Connie, is quite a clever and artistic person, as I discovered when I dropped her off at home after our pretzel expedition. I was especially impressed with her DVD show, complete with appropriate music, of her trip to Broken Hill last year. Absolutely stunning!

Hey Val, I was chatting to Meow tonight online and she said what a great day the two of you had. She didn't mention those pretzels though - YUM!
Thank you very much for putting a link here to my recent posting; that is a lovely compliment! I've noticed this feature on Miss Eagle's blog...will one of you please explain how to do that? Another NEAT bloggy-thingy!
Hi Val,
Those pretzels look yummy and I love the smiles on your faces! I've recently started visiting Connie and agree she's so talented.
xo
I'm coming right over for one of them pretzels!! hehe They sure look good! It's so wonderful that you and Connie were able to get together again for such a fun day:-) xox
What a fun way to spend time together with blogging buddies!

Connie is a friend of mine; I'd love to meet her and my other blogging friends around the world.
I LUV soft warm pretzels...with salt...also I like those with jalepeno baked in...hot, but delish!!
I tried a cinnemon sugar the other day and was not that impressed with it.
Oh Val, now you made me feel homesick, we can't find those pretzels here! :-) xoxox
Love the photo Val! Sounds you and Meow had a wonderful time! Would be great be there with you both!
pretzels - yum
looks like you and Connie had fun :]
Looks like those pretzels were so good that you've eaten them all AND the photo as well. (only blank patch showing here). Hopefully it will return, and maybe some pretzels with it.
Hi Val, it was fun catching up, wasn't it. Did your family enjoy the pretzels, too (you didn't quickly eat them up before you got home, did you !?!?!).
Thanks for the compliments ... as I said, I enjoy putting the photos to music and creating a DVD ... it is a different way of looking at the photos, don't you think !!
Thanks for the fun afternoon.
Take care, Meow
just finished commenting and then promptly lost it...grrr...
You two lovelies look like you're having fun showing off your pretzels! I'm now hungry for some pretzel after visiting Connie and You here. Your day out yesterday sounded fab, and I still wish I could have tagged along.
I've always thought that Connie was a dab hand with her artistic talent, creativity, and knowledge with computers/technology etc..and I'd love to see her DVD photo shows!
p.s. the sore neck has somewhat eased today, thanks for your comment over at mine.
have a good weekend Val :-)
