Star tunnel book

I made my very first star tunnel book at Barb's workshop yesterday. Ok, confession, I needed to finish it at home today, because I got a bit ambitious with the content. Anyway, it starts out as this normal looking book tied up with a ribbon, but when you open it out, it turns into a star shape with views through "windows" (tunnel).

A good overview.

Oh golly gosh! I am speechless with admiration, that is so so clever. And so meticulously well suited to its subject matter. *clap clap clap* and a deep bow.

I modestly accept your admiration and applause. I'm glad the shapes of the windows (e.g. Mt Fuji, the samurai and the geisha) were noticed, but boy, that added greatly to the fiddliness (word?). Anyway, I am fairly well pleased with this first effort.

Groovy indeed! It's quite a work of art Val. You are such a clever girl! Yes, looks like it involved a lot of fiddliness (a good word, I think :) but it turned out beautifully. Quite a reward for diligent work. Now go make more :)
