I made my very first star tunnel book at Barb's workshop yesterday. Ok, confession, I needed to finish it at home today, because I got a bit ambitious with the content. Anyway, it starts out as this normal looking book tied up with a ribbon, but when you open it out, it turns into a star shape with views through "windows" (tunnel).
A good overview.

[stands and applauds]
That is really terrific, Val. I love the content. Always good to be ambitious about these things!
WOW...that is Awesome!!!
:-D
Val,
You're so talented and creative! What a fun hobby for you...
Oh golly gosh! I am speechless with admiration, that is so so clever. And so meticulously well suited to its subject matter. *clap clap clap* and a deep bow.
I modestly accept your admiration and applause. I'm glad the shapes of the windows (e.g. Mt Fuji, the samurai and the geisha) were noticed, but boy, that added greatly to the fiddliness (word?). Anyway, I am fairly well pleased with this first effort.
Val.................your a star! :o) very nice work!
I have been missing in action for a few days but am rushing around catching up on all my "must check!" blogs and bloggers so will now take a look at yours and lets chat again soon.

What a lovely thing you have created. The pages of all my books just flap.
Gosh, this is your FIRST attempt at this?? Looks like a pro made it, it's terrific!!! I've never seen anything like it, so very beautiful!
What a groovy little book! You are a talented thing, Val!
Groovy indeed! It's quite a work of art Val. You are such a clever girl! Yes, looks like it involved a lot of fiddliness (a good word, I think :) but it turned out beautifully. Quite a reward for diligent work. Now go make more :)
Val...this is really awesome...What will you come up with next?
I also stand and applaud...great job and I like the content too.
This book is fabulous Val... It looks like you have found a very interesting craft here... I look forward to seeing the others that you may produce... As it turns out my sister knows Barb quite well... Small world yet again...
