My blogspace. Well, not much to say about that. But I'd love to replace my workstation which I bought along with my first computer in about 1990. In those days I didn't use the mouse much, and now it's apparent that I don't have enough mouse-moving room.
Dining room, living room on other side of bamboo screen, STILL decorated with Christmas things, yes, in July.
Kitchen, with waiting dirty dishes edited out to left of screen. Two lazy susans in the bottom corners, glad the kitchen design man convinced us to have two rather than one. So easy to get at stuff.
Walk in pantry, taken from the doorway. It extends to the left and right, with shelves on two walls perpendicular to the one you see. Top shelf full of Gourmet magazines. I love my pantry!

Val,
Yours was the very 1st home I've toured.
Your pantry is great! Thanks for inviting us! Now that I know blogger is working, maybe I'll try to get my post done!
Very pretty home and I really love your walk-in pantry with all that room. It's to die for.
Lovely and homey looking. I love the pantry.
Ah, I wish for a pantry. That is just beautiful!
Nothing wrong with Christmas in July! Gret home. Thanks for sharing!
here from the tour - I love your pantry, can I have it?
I am so jealous of how much room you have in your pantry!
i'm jealous of that pantry! enjoyed your tour.
Great Pantry!
We just moved to Australia. Sydney.
Anyway, I enjoyed touring your home.
Wow what a tidy pantry, you should see mine *blush* I sure didn't post a photo of mine, lol. I love your house pictures. Blessings.
Love it. I love your entrance - I'm a sucker for an interesting front door. And I've seen some of the other stuff before (glad to see you've still got those decorations there). I finally got mine up (blogger was not nice about it, though).
This is so much fun, being able to "walk" through the other's homes:-) You have a lovely home and seeing the Christmas decorations made me smile because I'm a Christmas fanatic and I'd decorate all year round if I could! hehe
Hello Val ~~ Thanks for sharing your home with us. Like everyone else, I love
the pantry. It is wonderful and so tidy.
I reall envy you that. What did you think of the bid draw. So close !!
Maybe we can beat Freo this week. Their
coach Chris Connolly used to live next door to us in Nathalia. He started school with my 2 girls taking him. BUT
we still wanna win. Cheers, Merle.
Love the japanese feel and the Christmas decorations!!!
Hehehe, had a chuckle at the Christmas decorations. I forgot all about this tour....I was going to participate. I am becoming pretty scatter brained lately (yes, more than usual..eeek).
Anyway thanks for the tour of your lovely home Val...loved the entrance and pantry too :)
p.s. Your variation to the tea cake sounds good...I will definitely be using the icing sugar...the other sugar was too crunchy. How clever.
very pretty
Love the kitchen and pantry.
Walk in pantry- what a great idea! lovely kitchen and entrance to your home. Thank you for letting us visit.
Bests
I luuuuuuuv your kitchen...and the pantry! So big, so clean...wonderful!
Thanks for the tour of your lovely home. I want your pantry. I need a space like that for all my Bon Appetit magazines! (Oh, and the food, too.)
The videos are working on my tour now if you want to come back to see them.
You have a lovely home! Thanks for sharing it!

Totally jealous of your pantry. I left a nice (but MUCH smaller) walk-in behind in the last house.
Thanks for the tour. You have a lovely home. Just say you're getting a jump on Christmas this year - starting in July!
A walk-in pantry? Wow!
I love your pantry too! Thanks for the tour of you lovely home.
Yes the pantry is to die for, wonderful. Thanks so much for opening your home to us.
oooh a walk in pantry! How awesome is that!
I love your pantry too. What I wouldn't give for storage space like that. And your hardwood floors are gorgeous. Too funny, the Christmas stuff still out and about. Thanks for the peek.
Just stopped by on the HOME tour! Loved the way you got rid of the dirty dishes. Nice job! ~ jb///
I too would kill for that pantry. We have no food storage and I am so tired of the trek to the basement.
Would love to have a pantry like yours :) Wanna come edit out my dishes too? LOL
Loved your home, thanks for sharing :)
I love your pantry too!!
Nice to meet you...I've seen you around...thanks for inviting us to view your cozy home!
:-D
Love the Japanese garden your setting up Val. Looks great.
What a great pantry~~I think we all want one! Your wood floors are awesome, too. Thanks for sharing.
Regarding the computer in the closet...
Yeah computers DO get hot, so we just leave the door open unless we have company, then we turn off the computer and shut the door.
I see the pantry is a big hit with your visitors today. I, too, have a pantry. When we built our home I opted for less cabinets and larger pantry. No surprising, it is full!! Thanks for sharing your home.
There is NOTHING like Christmas in July!! And... with the heat lately! I would love to PRETEND that it's winter!!
I love the pantry! I see LOTS of people love the pantry. Hee hee!! (We are a bit jealous, I think, but... don't tell.)
Blessings! ~Beckie
Your Home looks great! I love your Pantry as well.
Hope I get to see the new book soon!!
I love your pantry, too! And that Japanese garden!
Thanks for your hospitality!
Cool an Aussy house! I think your pantry is awesome. I just got a pantry closet (not as big as yours) and I really like it too. Thanks for the tour.
I love that pantry and kitchen. I'm a sucker for a tidy kitchen and pantry - so how come mine is rarely like that ...lol?
I love your pantry. I'm all about storage spaces! Thanks for sharing.
Loved your pantry and front entry way! Neat older home. Thanks for sharing it with the blogosphere. :)
The cosest I'll gt to Austraila for a while!! Thanks from the US!
I love that pantry. I am gathering ideas for when we build! Thanks for the tour.
What a great pantry! :) Thanks for sharing!
I love your kitchen and your pantry is divine! I really like the cooktop. I would love to have my old kitchen with the wall oven and cooktop back instead of the whole "stove" set up. Thanks so much for sharing your home :)
Your pantry and kitchen are phenominal!! And Christmas in July is perfect! Thanks for inviting us in!
Nice home, Val. Thanks for visiting me. (I love my pantry, too!)
Hi Val, I am glad I am here at you lovely home! I saw on past posts your beautiful Japanese garden and your dining room, too! Yes, I love your pantry! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
Lovely home and WOW what a pantry!! That's a women's dream :)
wow - well done Val... I love your bamboo screen, I don't think I've ever been in a house that uses a bamboo screen that I didn't feel peace and love - I guess that might be more of the japanese influence?
thanks
Della
Am so loving that walk in pantry!! Lovely home. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for sharing! I lived in Melbourne as a child...Strathmore, is that near you? It was so fun to see a house from so far away and realize that no matter where we are, we are all so similar!
I envy your pantry.
Thanks for the tour
Sounds like everyone thinks you should sell the rest of the house and live in the pantry Val, good tour thanks.
What wonderful list of endless comments, and great tour of your home. I was thinking about a post on Mud brick homes in Eltham? Any in your area?
Best wishes
oops -my comment above
Oh, I might kill for that kind of room in a pantry. Well not really, but it really would help to be able to see everything when I'm looking to cook.
I'm a Bon Appetit girl my self, but I get the saving of magazines.
Thanks for sharing!
Your pantry is obviously everyone's favorite! Thanks so much for the tour.
You have such a lovely home, and an amazing pantry ... you could hold a party in there !!
Take care, Meow
Your home is lovely Val. I especially love the entrance with those white stones and huge rocks. I hope the MWC didn't have to lift those :) Kidding of course. Did you have to hire someone with a big bucket loader to move those? Nice neat kitchen....so clean and white!
